Hi there — I’m Katie, and I’m truly so glad you’re here.
The story of Six Eleven Blooms has been quietly blooming in my heart for years. It began in small, quiet moments—like the first time I made a bouquet at my best friend’s bridal shower. Back then, flower bars weren’t Pinterest-worthy trends; they were just joyful, hands-on ways to create beauty with fresh flowers. I remember how alive I felt, arranging stems with intention. That feeling stuck with me.
From Trader Joe’s bouquets to surprise gifts for friends, I kept returning to flowers whenever I needed a moment of stillness or a spark of joy. And yet, like many dreams, I tucked the idea of creating custom bouquets “for real” away—waiting for the perfect time.
That time came during a season of deep personal burnout. I felt untethered, exhausted, and not myself. In the quiet that followed, something small and clear surfaced: What if I planted a garden? What if I gave beauty and stillness more space in my life?
And just like that, Six Eleven Blooms began to take root.
The name comes from my childhood home—611—a place where, through all the ups and downs, a little girl found a way to smile. It’s a reminder that joy and struggle can exist side by side, and sometimes we need to return to our roots to remember who we are.
Six Eleven Blooms isn’t just about flowers; it’s about healing. It’s about creating beauty with your hands, finding your way back to the things that make you feel alive. Every bouquet tells a story—of resilience, gratitude, and growth. As a Michigan event florist, I strive to provide locally sourced blooms that resonate with each occasion.
Thank you for being here. Whether you’re sending blooms through our local flower delivery service, growing your own, or simply stopping by, I’m so grateful we’ve crossed paths.
If you’re a fellow Michigan gardener, send tips my way—I’m learning as I grow. And if you ever need a Michigan wedding florist or a Michigan staging florist for your events, I’d love to help.
Here’s to new beginnings,
Katie
